Safe-by-design performance optimization: every optimization has its own toggle.
- WebP served through a <picture> element with fallback to the untouched original (originals are never modified)
- Image lazy loading
- Per-file minify (safe, ON) and combine CSS/JS + HTML minify (OFF by default as they can break the theme)
- Browser-cache headers, preload/preconnect
- .htaccess changes confined to a delimited block and removed on uninstall
- Non-destructive DB maintenance: dry-run by default, only transient data older than configurable thresholds
Compatibility: PrestaShop 1.7.7 / 8 / 9. Multilingual (IT + EN included). No core modification: the module uninstalls cleanly.
Support: updates and assistance included. Contact: shop@presta365.com

CompatibilityPrestaShop 1.7.7 / 8 / 9
| Version | Date | Changes |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0.10 | 2026-10-12 | Improved: the CSS and JS options are now "Combine and minify CSS" and "Combine and minify JS", described as what they are (the PrestaShop native combine, compress and cache) and off on new installations; saved settings keep working as before. The Defer JS, Move JS to footer and Add missing dimensions options, which had no effect, were removed. Improved: lazy loading leaves the logo, the page header, the first 3 images and high-priority images loading immediately; WebP leaves existing picture elements and lazy-loading scripts alone and follows srcset and sizes. Fixed: the module stays enabled after an update from the Module Manager on PrestaShop 9, WebP files are written safely and at most 5 per page view, very large pages are always delivered whole, and stricter validation of the critical CSS field. |
| 1.0.8 | 2026-09-20 | Fixed: Italian accents in back office and front office messages. |
| 1.0.7 | 2026-09-20 | Fixed: on a multi-store shop, install-time settings (including WebP image quality and the database maintenance thresholds) could apply to only one store instead of every store. Existing installs are repaired automatically on update. |
| 1.0.6 | 2026-09-20 | Improved: compatibility between Presta365 modules installed together. |
| 1.0.5 | 2026-09-17 | Added: a warning on the module's settings page when its folder is not writable by the web server, so you can fix permissions before an update fails. |
| 1.0.4 | 2026-09-16 | Fixed: license check now correctly detects a revoked license or one used on a different domain. |
| 1.0.3 | 2026-09-11 | Improved: the declared PrestaShop compatibility now starts at 1.7.7, the first version that guarantees the PHP 7.1 this module requires. Improved: the back office banner, the module logo and the lazy loading fallback are now rendered from template files. Fixed: WebP batch regeneration on PrestaShop 9, plus minor internal cleanup. |
| 1.0.1 | 2026-09-11 | Added: "Auto-refresh on change" option that keeps the combined JS and CSS in step with the files they are built from. Fixed: a stale combined bundle could keep being served after a theme or module asset had changed. |
| 1.0.0 | 2026-06-14 | First public release. - Front-office performance optimizations: caching helpers and asset tuning. |
