EU Legal Guarantee Notice & GARAN Label

From 27 September 2026 traders selling goods to consumers in the European Union must inform them about the legal guarantee of conformity with the harmonised notice, and show the GARAN label when the producer offers a commercial guarantee of durability of more than two years (Directive (EU) 2024/825, Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/1960). The module shows the official files of the European Commission, unchanged, in the language of the customer.

• GARAN label per product and per combination drawn from the official template: duration in whole years or half years (2,5 to 9,5), producer and model identifier; on the product page the label follows the combination the customer picks
• GARAN card around the official strip: colour, corners, size, frame and texts per language, with a live preview; a click, a tap or the keyboard opens the full label and the link to the Your Europe page stays visible. The official files are not changed: only the texts and the frame are yours
• Manufacturer templates: duration, producer name and address and validity period once per brand, applied to all its products or to a selection; data entered on a single product always takes precedence
• CSV import and export of the GARAN data by id, reference, EAN-13 or MPN, with a row by row check before anything is written
• Option not to show the notice and the labels to business customers (customer group, company name or VAT number), also in the confirmation email
• Record of every order: what the customer was shown and whether the email left with the attachments, on the order page and as a CSV export
• Text scanner: shows where to look in the names, descriptions, meta tags and feature values of every language, pointing out texts that promise a producer, durability, lifetime or more than two years guarantee on products without GARAN data, and texts that present the legal guarantee as an advantage of the offer; editable word lists per language, a "checked" mark and CSV export. A result is not a verdict: you read the text and decide
• Summary page in the back office: products with a label, manufacturers without a template and orders recorded
• Notice and GARAN labels in the order confirmation email, with the official PDF attached
• Preview of every display in the 24 languages; no external call while your pages are displayed

Compatibility: PrestaShop 1.6.1 to 9 (1.6.1, 1.7, 8, 9), multistore, default-bootstrap, classic and Hummingbird themes. PHP 7.1 or later. On PrestaShop 1.6 the PDF and the labels arrive in a second email right after the order.
